Evidence of Close Listening

Your reaction to the piece clearly demonstrates that close listening. You can do this by using time stamps (“at 0:35…”), referring to specific events (“when the saxophone solo began”), and by referring to changes over time through out the recording (“the piece got louder/denser/slower etc.”). When appropriate try to use terms from class such as: intro, verse, chorus, bridge, AABA form, hook, riff, etc
